Paragraph text
Y'all add together paragraph text in a document past using text frames. Paragraph text, also known as "block text," is mostly reserved for larger bodies of text that have greater formatting requirements. For instance, you can use paragraph text when creating brochures, newsletters, catalogs, or other text-intensive documents.
You lot can insert a text frame directly in the drawing window. You can also place text inside a graphic object, which increases the number of different shapes that you tin can use every bit text frames. To create a frame from an object

If the frame contains content, the content is deleted when the frame reverts to a regular object.

To separate a text frame from an object
1 Click the Option tool

The text frame and the object tin now exist moved or edited separately.
When you separate a text frame from some objects, such as ellipses or stars, the text does not retain the shape of the object. Alternatively, the text is independent in a standard rectangular text frame.
To insert placeholder text
1 Select an empty text frame.
2 Click Text
You lot tin can customize the placeholder text past creating text in a give-and-take processor or text application and saving the document as placeholder.rtf. You then need to store the file in the following Users folder: Documents \ Corel \ Corel Content. The next time that yous launch the application, the customized placeholder text is inserted in the text frame.
